Intellectualism.Org seeks to promote the idea of Intellectualism. That is, the idea of basing our actions and beliefs on logic, reason, and the scientific process. We believe that, while faith is not per se a bad thing, it should be tempered by the knowledge that without positive proof, beliefs should be treated as hypotheses, not solid facts.

We believe that the greatest danger to society is ignorance. For that reason, Intellectualism.Org seeks to be a freely-available source of information on a variety of topics. In addition, we hope to show how interesting Intellectualism and scientific inquiry can be.
